Mass Spectrometry 2016

Dear Colleagues and Friends ,

It is a great honor for me to be an Organizing Committee Member for the 2nd International Conference on Current Trends in Mass Spectrometry, Chicago, USA and privilege to welcome all participants at this prominent conference.

My major fields of my PhD studies at Bar-Ilan University (Israel) were bioanalytical chemistry, enzymology and protein purification. My target analytes were existent at extremely low concentrations, therefore radiochemistry and mass spectrometry become my main analytical tools. Due to complexity of my research project, I become proficient in a field of difficult separations and begun my first independent developments with column switching and semi-automation of chromatographic separations.  I completed my PhD at the end of 1999 and after brief post-doctoral project in protein chemistry and molecular biology, I become a faculty member at Albert Einstein college of Medicine, NY Bronx, were I worked in a field of clinical mass spectrometry for 15 years.   As director of mass spectrometry at analytical core laboratory at Einstein-Montefiore Institute for Clinical and Translational Research I managed and supervised developments and validations of quantitative bioanalytical LC/MS methods for routine analysis of various target analytes from a human specimens for clinical diagnostic or clinical research. In-house developed methods were combined 2-dimensional liquid chromatography/ mass spectrometry and isotope dilution assays. In spite of heavy workload, I was able to conduct some independent research and investigate various aspects of ionization and fragmentation processes and continued my developments in a field of multidimensional chromatography. I am serving as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Chromatography & Separation Techniques (OMICS Publishing Group). Recently I joined Wadsworth Research Center for an environmental LC/MS biomonitoring and related research.

At the 2nd International Conference on Current Trends in Mass Spectrometry I will present some of my research findings. I see, that topics of the Conference are truly reflect the current trends, recent advances and new approaches in Mass Spectrometry.  The Summit will cover among others: MS fundamentals, ionization techniques, MS imaging, experimentation as well as data analysis, and last but not list - a wide area of Mass Spectrometry applications.

Mass Spectrometry 2016 Conference, offers unique opportunity for young scientists starting their research activity in the Mass Spectrometry field across the world to present and recognise their achievements.  It will be also a platform gathering the eminent scientists cordially welcome to participate in this prestigious event.

Your participation will make the 2nd International conference on Current Trends in Mass Spectrometry an unforgettable scientific endeavour and will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and contacts also between Industry and Academia.

Kind regards

Mass Spectrometry 2016  is a unique opportunity to discuss best practices within the laboratory research and those in other industries if the people  are doing related things getting a variety of viewpoints can help us see where we can change or improve our own ideas and processes. Mass Spectrometry 2016 conference designed in all aspects of application including electrospray ionization and mass spectrometry imaging. There will be many seminars, workshops and technical sessions take place which will catch the attention of the professionals to attend Mass Spectrometry conference and it would enormously enrich our knowledge in understanding the current requirements of the global pharmaceutical industry and LCMS/GCMS. The expert will get an excellent opportunity to give many presentations and lectures on different topic and will also present their case studies.

In the light of this theme, the conference series aims to provide a forum for international researchers from various areas of  mass spectrometry. This conference brings together individuals who are interested in fields of mass spectrometry the Therapeutic approaches for mass spectrometry  paving way to  explore issues of mutual concern as well as exchange knowledge, share evidence and ideas, and generate solutions. As per the Frost and Sullivan report analytical market is growing on an average 0.4%  annually. This report studies the global mass spectrometry market over the forecast period of 2013 to 2018. The market was estimated at $3.9 billion in 2013 and is expected to reach $5.9 billion by 2018, growing at a CAGR of 8.7% from 2013 to 2018.North America dominated the global mass spectrometry market in 2013, followed by Europe and Asia. The North American market is likely to be driven by factors such as the increasing number of government investments in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, and academic research studies that make use of mass spectrometry techniques. On the other hand, Asia is expected to grow at the highest CAGR due to the presence of high-growth markets such as India and China, the improved funding scenario in this region, increasing number of conferences and exhibitions on mass spectrometry, and increased focus of the giant players in these countries.

Mass Spectrometry 2016 welcomes all attendees, presenters, and exhibitors from all over the world to Chicago, USA. We are delighted to invite you all to attend and register for the “2nd International Conference on Current Trends in Mass Spectrometry (Mass spectrometry 2016)” which is going to be held during July 20-22, 2016 in Chicago, USA.

The organizing committee is gearing up for an exciting and informative conference program including plenary lectures, symposia, workshops on a variety of topics, poster presentations and various programs for participants from all over the world. We invite you to join us at the Mass Spectrometry 2016, where you will be sure to have a meaningful experience with scholars from around the world. All members of the Mass Spectrometry-2016 organizing committee look forward to meeting you in Chicago, USA.

The mass spectrometry community is probably the largest group of scientists working around a single tool.  Mass spectrometry (MS), arguably the most important analytical spectroscopic tool of modern times.  There is no single area of experimental science where mass spectroscopy is not being used. There is no university or research institution in the developed world without a mass spectrometer.

Why Chicago?

The presence of universities, hospitals, legal/accounting and other professional services, together with key installations of the U.S. make it favorite destination for scientific meetings.

The Chicago economy is dominated by four major sectors: oil/gas and related activities, tourism, the port and ship/boat building, and aerospace manufacturing. Boasting attractions such as its magnetic French Quarter, America's largest Mardis Gras festival, and river-boat gambling, Chicago has a history of solid tourist trade. In a city with more than 10 million visitors annually, the hospitality business supplies more than 66,000 jobs in the service sector such as accommodations and restaurants. In 2004, tourists spent $4.9 billion in New Orleans.

Conference Highlights:

Why to attend???
